South Bruce announces funding for local schools from Community Liaison Committee

South Bruce has announced funding from the Community Liaison Committee for two local schools.

A release from the municipality states that Mildmay-Carrick Public School has installed new gym mats, made possible with funding provided by the Community Liaison Committee and the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. Additionally, the CLC and NWMO approved a funding request for the purchase of interactive technology walls at Hillcrest Central School,

The $3,000 and $4,600 contribution, respectively, came from the Early Investments in Education and Skills fund, which is administered by the members of the CLC with funding provided by the NWMO.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
