Hydro One crews continue to work

Hundreds of Hydro One customers in Midwestern Ontario are still without power following Saturday's powerful wind storm.

In a statement, Hydro One says it's asking for help from it's "utility partners" to get the lights back on.

The storm brought 100 km/h winds to the province and knocked out power to more than 450, 000 Hydro One customers.

The utility says the vast majority -- more than 410,000 -- are back on line but it could be later Monday and even into Tuesday before all power is restored.

The largest outage in our area is affecting some 789 customers in the Markdale area. The Hydro One website is estimating it will be 4 p.m. before they restore power there.
