Police still investigating recent break-in

South Bruce OPP continue to investigate a recent break-in that occurred in Walkerton.

On November 30th at 8:03 a.m., police received a call about a theft from a property in the 1100 block of Yonge Street south in Walkerton. Sometime between 10:00 p.m. on November 29th and 6:00 a.m. on November 30th the property was broken into. Stolen items include a large collection of Dewalt tools including a work site radio, a multi-tool, a fast charger, 10 batteries, impact drills, a hammer drill, skill saws and a framing nailer. The value of the stolen property is estimated to be $5,500.

Anyone who may have any information regarding this crime should contact South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
