Environment Canada unveils Top 10 Weather Stories of 2021

Senior Climatologist David Phillips of Environment Canada unveiled the Top 10Weather Stories of 2021 today.

The weather year for Canada once again yielded millions of dollars in damages across the country with numerous extreme weather events wreaking havoc across the country. The list for this year is as follows:

9. Hurricane Larry in Newfoundland

8. Another Hailer-Flooder in Calgary

7. Dreaded Arctic Blast Freezes Canada in February

6. Year of the EF2 Tornado

5. Canada Rides Out 4 Heat Waves

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
