Person facing charges after investigation into numerous mischief instances

Perth County OPP have charged one person after an investigation into a number of mischief incidents around Listowel.

On December 10th, police arrested and charged a 32-year-old North Perth resident following a mischief investigation that began on November 18th. Officers began investigating after receiving a report of graffiti spray painted around the Listowel Memorial Park, and nearby buildings, in the Municipality of North Perth. At least four different spots were spray painted with purple and black paint, mostly derogatory and insulting words and comments.

Police are thanking the public for their assistance. The accused has been charged with Mischief Under $5000 with an upcoming court date to answer to the charges.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
