Five people injured after crash involving buggy in Grey Highlands

Four people suffered life threatening injuries after a crash involving a horse-drawn buggy and a pick-up truck in Grey Highlands.

A fifth person was also injured, and all of those who were injured were in the buggy.

Ornge ambulance was called in to airlift three of the people to hospital.

The crash happened around 3:40 p.m. Thursday on Grey Road 2 between Centre Line A and the Third Concession in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

The road was closed for several hours while police investigate.

The OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team and the Ministry of Labour also responded to the scene.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
