Break-in at local car wash under investigation

A break-in at a local car wash is under investigation by Huron County OPP.

On December 17th between 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., a suspect went to the car wash located on King Street in Brussels. Once there, the suspect forced entry into a storage area and proceeded to defeat the change boxes and a bill changing machine. The thief also made off with a computer monitor in addition to the cash. It is not known just how much cash the thief made away with.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
