Police on-scene at crash on Highway 6

A portion of Highway 6 is closed following a crash between Varney and Mount Forest.

511Ontario confirmed via Twitter that Highway 6 is closed in both directions from Southgate Road 10 to Grey Road 9 due to a collision. Police and local EMS are on-scene. There is no word on any injuries or when the roadway may reopen.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area. More information as police make it available.
