Salvation Army Food Bank receives donation in Hanover

Grant's Independent Grocers and The Hanover New Car Dealers have teamed up to make a donation to the local Salvation Army Food Bank.

The Hanover New Car Dealers Donated $5,000 and John Grant of Grant's Independent Grocer turned their $5,000 donation into $8,000 worth of food for the food bank.

Larry Lantz of Hanover Honda said this has been an ongoing tradition since 2014.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
