Local business makes donation to hospital

Leslie Motors has made a donation to the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation.

A cheque for $10,000 was presented to the hospital foundation by Cole and Zach Leslie, and the donation will benefit new medication dispensing technology and X-Ray department renovations in Wingham. Leslie Motors is also donating funds to their other local hospital foundations as well as local fire departments and food banks.

In a release, the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation says they are "immensely grateful to everyone at Leslie Motors for their ongoing generosity."

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
