Emergency crews are reportedly on the scene of a fire at a two-storey apartment building on Mary Street in Ayton.
West Grey Police tweeted about four hours ago that they had blocked off the intersection of Mary Street and Louisa Street.
Fire crews from West Grey responded with mutual aid from Minto and Mount Forest.
Photos from an eyewitness show a column of flame shooting from the roof of the structure.
There are no reports of injuries.
