One person charged following damage to apartment building

One person is facing charges following damage done to an apartment building in Mitchell.

Perth County OPP responded to a call on December 16th just before 8:30 p.m. to an address on St. David Street after a person began breaking windows of the apartment building with an object. No serious injuries were reported from the incident. As a result, a 49-year-old resident of West Perth has been charged with mischief over $5,000.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
