Council supports push for MRI machine at hospital

Goderich council has thrown its support behind the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital's efforts to get an MRI unit.

Mayor, John Grace, says the MRI unit is really needed.

"This is really needed as part of our health care system here in Goderich. We have one of the best health care systems in Southwestern Ontario and this will be another supporting tool for that."

Grace says Goderich is a growing community and the communities around Goderich are growing, so council whole-heartedly supported the hospital's submission to the Provincial government for an MRI unit.
