Police on-scene at serious crash involving school bus and commercial vehicle

Perth County OPP are on-scene at what they're calling a "serious crash" in Perth East.

Just before 3 p.m. this afternoon, police responded along with Perth County Paramedic Services and Perth East Fire Department to a two vehicle collision at Perth Road 107 and Line 45 in the Township of Perth East. A commercial motor vehicle and school bus were involved. One of the occupants on the school bus was taken to hospital via ORNGE Air Ambulance, and another was transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, and the roadway is closed for now. Expect a lengthy closure as crews continue to investigate. Drivers should avoid the area. Anyone who may have witnessed this collision should contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers. More updates as they are made available by police.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
