Suspects arrested in Exeter break in investigation

Huron County OPP has charged three people and is still looking for a fourth suspect after a break, enter and theft investigation in the Exeter area.

Police were notified about the break in at a storage facility on January 4.

Two of the suspects were arrested on January 5 during a a traffic stop in Morris-Turnberry.

During the stop, police seized suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, a prohibited knife and a prohibited weapon. Police also located and seized a dirt bike that had been reported stolen that was inside a trailer being towed by the suspects.

A third suspect was arrested in Clinton on January 11.

And police are still looking for a fourth suspect.

Two people from Wingham, both 36-years old, and a 21-year old from Clinton face numerous charges including break and enter and theft under $5,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
