Three people charged in connection to local break-in

Perth County OPP have charged three people following an investigation into a break-in at a local business.

On January 21st just after noon, police received a report of thefts that had occurred at a business on Wallace Avenue North in Listowel. The suspects stole numerous items from the business and left in a vehicle. Following an investigation police have arrested and charged a 45 and 50 year-old, both from Kitchener, along with a 28-year-old Waterloo native, with numerous charges including Theft Under $5000 - Shoplifting (two counts).

The two Kitchener natives were held pending a bail hearing, while the 28-year-old accused from Waterloo was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge against them.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
