Changing weather prompts bus cancellations

Changing weather conditions has affected travel in parts of Bruce County.

A snow squall watch was issued just after 6:20 a.m. Thursday for Bruce County and northern areas of Huron.

Local blowing snow is being reported and gusty winds upwards of 50 km/h are possible through the day.

The weather prompted bus cancellations affecting a number of schools in Bruce County.

There are reports of poor visibility along the Highway 21 corridor stretching from Kincardine north through Saugeen Shores and up along Higway 6 along the Bruce Peninsula.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
