Police still searching for stolen vehicles taken from local dealership

Perth County OPP continue to search for two of the five vehicles recently stolen from a local dealership.

Police started an investigation on December 31st, after it was discovered that two suspects broke into a business on Wallace Avenue North in Listowel at 2:30 a.m.

The suspects stole vehicle keys and left with five vehicles, with a total value of over $140,000.

Three of the stolen vehicles have been recovered, and at the time of recovery, they had stolen license plates from South Bruce attached to them.

The 2018 Audi and 2012 Mercedes Benz were recovered in Wellington County, and the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado was recovered in the North Bay area.

Police are still searching for a grey, 2016 Dodge Ram and black, 2017 Dodge Ram.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
