Homelessness a hot topic for Huron County's Warden at ROMA

Huron County Warden, Glen McNeil, was part of a delegation of Western Ontario Wardens Caucus members who made a presentation to a group of Provincial ministers at this weeks' virtual ROMA Conference.

Much of the discussion was around the need for affordable housing, but McNeil's presentation was specifically about the homelessness issue and the fact that it is no longer just an urban issue.

"We made that very clear and evident to the ministers. It did not get any push back. Our government understands it and it's a matter of moving forward with housing to accommodate those that are less privileged than ourselves," said McNeil.
