Local area could see more snow

The temperature will be milder Tuesday but the break from the cold will not last long.

And we can expect additional snow fall to end the week.

While the temperature will reach a high of 2 Tuesday, there is a special weather statement in place, covering Huron, Perth, Wellington, southern Bruce and southern Grey for Wednesday through the rest of the week.

As Tuesday night's rain transitions to snow by early Wednesday, the temperature will fall back well below the freezing point Wednesday night.

Through the remainder of the week, areas could see heavy snow at times with upwards of 20 cm by Friday. Blowing snow is also expected which could impact visibility and road conditions.

The snow fall is expected to taper by Friday morning.
