Hydro One reported an outage just before 2:30 a.m. in an area stretching from Zurich, south to Dashwood and west to St. Joseph.
It looked to be repaired just before 6 a.m.
But now Hydro One's outage webpage is showing the same area is still being affect by an outage.
Just over 1,400 customers are affected.
No cause is listed and the estimated restoration time is after 9 a.m.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
