Light tunnel in Clinton gets upgrade

The Spooner's Light Tunnel, beside the town hall in Clinton, now has it's new lighting system.

Central Huron Community Improvement Coordinator Angela Smith says she started working on a Light Tunnel after seeing one in Toronto and she's been working on the project for almost four years now.

Smith says while they were able to get lights in the Tunnel in time for Christmas, she learned there were other lighting options that would allow them to customize the lights for different events.

They have now installed a programmable lighting system and the lights on the tunnel floor this weekend are a combination of white and red and pink for Valentine's Day and for Family Day.

Smith says the program also allows them to have the lights run through seven different sequences.
