Police investigating double fatal crash involving two vehicles

Huron County OPP are investigating a double fatal collision that occurred near Hensall last night.

Police say they responded to a two vehicle crash located just south of Hensall on London Road (Highway 4) last night just after 10 p.m. Huron County Paramedic Services and the Hensall Fire Department assisted at the scene. Police found two heavily damaged sedans that were involved in a head on collision. The driver of one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene. They have been identified as 27-year-old Jacob McDougall of Hensall. Both the driver and passenger in the other car were transported to hospital. The passenger, 82-year-old Greta Zwaan from Exeter was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. The driver, an 86-year-old from Exeter remains in hospital with serious injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate this crash, and are requesting that anyone who may have witnessed this crash to call Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
