Legion makes donation to local hospital foundation

The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation has received a generous donation.

The Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command Branches and Ladies' Auxiliaries Charitable Foundation has donated $6,380 dollars to the hospital foundation, which has gone toward purchasing new scopes for the OR. Donations over the last year from numerous charitable sources have allowed all the OR scopes in Wingham to be updated. The new scopes have enhanced technology that improves image management, reporting and simplifies data collection.

In the release, The Wingham and District Hospital Foundation says they extend a sincere thank you to the local Legions in Wingham, Lucknow, Blyth, Howick and Brussels, their auxiliaries and to the Ontario Command for the donation.
