Huron Perth hospitals have no COVID-19 patients admitted

Hospitals in Huron Perth had no COVID-19 patients in need of care today.  Huron Perth Public Health reported no hospitalizations due to COVID-19 on Friday. There were ten new cases. 92 people have died as a result of COVID-19 since the pandemic began in Huron-Perth. There are outbreaks in one long-term care home and South Huron Hospital.

The Grey Bruce Health Unit added 25 new cases past 24 hours in Grey Bruce. 13 residents are hospitalized in Grey Bruce due to COVID-19. 41 Grey Bruce residents have succumbed to the virus. COVID-19 outbreaks are reported in six Long-Term Care or Retirement Homes.

Thursday, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health reported 18 residents in hospital with the virus and the outbreak was still active at Royal Terrace in Palmerston.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
