Huron County approves 2022 budget

Huron County council has approved its budget for this year.

According to Warden, Glen McNeil, "Huron County council approved a 3.06 per cent increase in the levy for 2022. And that will be ratified at our March Huron County council meeting."

"The median residential property value in Huron County is 209-thousand dollars. So, to that median property value, this equates to 25 dollars a year in an increase with the Huron County taxes," added McNeil.
