UPDATE: Fire near Arthur

Updated at 12:05 p.m.

Wellington North firefighters responded to a call about a fire on Highway 6 between Arthur and Petherton Friday at 8 a.m.

Crews arrived to find a fire in a drive shed, which contained a tractor and snow removal equipment.

The probable cause of the fire was a block heater. The damage estimate is unknown at this time.

No one was inside the building at the time and there were no reported injuries.

About 30 firefighters responded to the scene from both Wellington North stations and mutual aid was provided by Minto Fire.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
