Hazardous driving conditions Sunday afternoon

Environment Canada has issued a blowing snow advisory for Grey-Bruce and the northern parts of Huron and Perth counties.

The weather agency said poor visibility due to the snow is expected to last until Sunday evening.

"Strong northwest winds gusting to 60 km/h are causing blowing snow in many areas," the agency said in a statement.

"Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions," the statement read.

Motorists are advised to postpone non-essential travel until conditions improve.
