Lake Huron Coastal Centre looking for summer help

The Lake Huron Coastal Centre is looking for some help this summer.

Coastal Education Technician, Kerry Kennedy, says they're looking for someone between the ages of 15 and 30 to become a Coastal Stewardship Assistant.

That position is for four months starting in May.

“So they will be, first of all, working with the Coastal Youth Corp., as an assistant. So we've got four program weeks through the summer with the CCYC, three of them in Saugeen Shores, one in Goderich,” explained Kennedy.

Kennedy says they also have a Green Ribbon Champion program that runs along the shoreline.

"During the weeks that aren't with the Youth program, the candidate will be helping with the restoration and the work along the shoreline with the Green Ribbon Champion program,” Kennedy summarized.

More information about the position can be found on the Lake Huron Coastal Centre website and the deadline for applications is March 13th.
