Bayfield residents hosting Glory to Ukraine Walk

A group of Bayfield residents are holding a Glory to Ukraine Walk through the village Saturday night.
"It's just whole horror of this situation. I think we thought maybe, just try and do something. We're all just individuals, but we put something together to have a bit of a gathering and a walk and one is to get together in this time, but number two is to encourage people to donate," said Committee member, Roger Lewington.

Lewington says they're going to meet at Clan Gregor Square in Bayfield around 6:00 p.m., at the cenotaph. "There'll be a bit of remembrance there for a few minutes and a welcome. And then we'll have a procession walk through the village, which will take about twenty minutes, just a chance to express our thoughts."

Lewington says the easiest way to make a donation is through the Canada Helps website and they will process your donation effortlessly and provide you with a charitable tax receipt instantly.
