Peter MacKay not seeking Conservative leadership

Peter MacKay won't be a candidate for the leadership of the federal Conservative party.

MacKay says he made the decision after consulting with family, friends colleagues.

He placed second to former leader Erin O'Toole in 2020.

He says he's still paying off the debt from that leadership run.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
