Perth County Connect offering free ride day this week

The Perth County Connect local transit service will be offering a day of free service this week.

On Friday, March 18th, PC Connect will mark Transit Appreciation Day by offering free rides all day. Any customers can enjoy free transit service across the entirety of the PC Connect service area.

That includes five routes Monday to Saturday, servicing Perth County, Stratford, St. Marys, Kitchener/Waterloo and London with five available buses.

To date since its launch in November 2020, PC Connect has seen 4,925 riders utilize their service.

Riders are encouraged to call 1-888-465-0783 to secure their seat.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
