UPDATE: More power outages reported

Hydro One is reporting power outages popping up across the region.

Over 2,000 customers are affected in the Goderich, Clinton and South Huron areas.

There are also pockets of outages in Bruce County, stretching from Tiverton, north through Saugeen Shores and up the peninsula around Sauble Beach and Lion's Head. Paisley has 100 customers listed as having no power, as well as 100 customers without service in Ayton. Westario Power customers in the Village of Clifford are experiencing an unplanned outage as a result of Loss of Supply from the transmission network. Estimated restoration time is currently unknown.

Hydro One crews are responding to outages, as well.

High winds are expected throughout the day.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
