Minto appoints interim joint CAOs

The Town of Minto has appointed a pair of joint interim CAOs.

In a release, Minto announced it has appointed Chris Harrow and Mark Potter as joint Interim Chief Administrative Officers.

Harrow and Potter will replace current CAO Derrick Thomson, as he departs to take a new position with Bruce County.

Harrow is currently the Director of Fire Services/Deputy CAO, and he served as Interim CAO in 2019 as the Town transitioned after the retirement of former CAO/Clerk Bill White. He will oversee the Public Works and Planning & Development Departments.

Potter, the current Deputy Treasurer, will oversee the Administration, Finance, Community Services and Economic Development departments.

Harrow and Potter will begin their new roles as of April 19th.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
