Lucknow Strawberry Summerfest future unknown

The Lucknow Strawberry Summerfest has announced that the event will not be returning again this year.

In an announcement posted to their social media, organizers said there were too many “unknowns” for the committee to plan around during the last few months due to changing COVID-19 restrictions.

They also said with many of their events being held indoors, they wanted to help keep families safe.

In regard to the future of the Lucknow Strawberry Summerfest, committee members will be re-evaluating if they can continue to operate it.

The announcement states the organization will not be able to continue, unless more community members volunteer to be on the committee, as it’s seen a drop in members due to retirements and new opportunities taking them elsewhere.

If you would like to volunteer, you can reach out through the Lucknow Strawberry Summerfest Facebook page.
