North Huron to revisit Cross Border Servicing Agreement with Morris-Turnberry

A long standing issue between two Huron County municipalities may be solved in the near future.

North Huron will take a look at a proposed Cross Border Servicing Agreement with Morris-Turnberry at tonight's meeting.

Negotiations have been on-going for the past three years in regards to the provision of water and sewer services.

The report being tabled this evening contains 15 focus points that includes capacity, costs, and responsibilities for repairs.

And the length of the contract will run to December 31, 2041 if agreed upon by both parties.

Part of the proposed by-law in front of North Huron tonight is to sign the agreement and then present it to Morris-Turnberry council for its consideration.
