Police on-scene at serious crash

Huron County OPP are currently on-scene at a bad crash near Clifford.

Police responded just before 11 a.m. this morning alongside Huron County Paramedic Services and Howick Fire Department to the crash located at the intersection of Howick-Turnberry Road (Huron County #7) & McIntosh Line (Huron County #28). First responders found two heavily damaged SUVs that were involved. One of the drivers was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the other was airlifted to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Howick-Turnberry Road at McIntosh Line will be closed for approximately another hour or so according to police. Anyone who may have witnessed this crash should contact Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
