Local students participate in provincial skills competition

Students at Owen Sound District Secondary School are competing in the 2022 Ontario Skills Competition.

OSDSS has three student teams competing in Friday's competition, which is being held virtually this year.

OSDSS students have a team in the Carpentry – Team of Two category, and two teams, one of which is all-female, competing in the Home and Team Building – Team of Four category. The competition will run from noon until 3 p.m.

The teams are competing outdoors but are asking anyone that wishes to come and watch to let the school know prior to arrival.

There will be a tent behind the school where the teams will be competing.
