Big Brothers Big Sisters Grey-Bruce hosts another successful fundraiser

Big Brothers Big Sisters Grey-Bruce hosted another successful Bowl for Kids' Sake event recently.

In a release, Big Brothers Big Sisters says the 42nd annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake event was their biggest yet, with 35 teams on lanes in three locations: The Bowling Alley in Owen Sound, Sunset Family Fun Centre in Port Elgin and Georgian Bowl in Collingwood.

Over $29,000 was raised last week, and some donations are still rolling in, as they hope to surpass their $30,000 goal.

All the proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards Big Brothers Big Sisters Grey-Bruce offering no-cost mentoring programs, which includes in-school mentoring programs and community-based programs to families and youth in Bruce and Grey.
