OPP close a section of Highway 6-10

OPP closed a section of Highway 6-10 in the Township of Chatsworth today after a two vehicle collision.

The Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Chatsworth Fire Department and Grey County Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded just after 2:30 pm to the scene between Massie Road and Boundary Road. One driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

The road was expected to be closed for several hours for clean up. Motorists were told to use Concession 2A to the West as a detour.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
