Perth Wellington hospitals to receive new funding

Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece announced hospitals across Perth and Wellington counties will benefit from nearly $5.2 million in new funding,

“This funding will keep our local hospitals strong, meeting the needs of all of us in Perth-Wellington,” said Pettapiece. “It will help them deliver the procedures people need, while also dealing with COVID-19."

“This new investment is just one way Ontario is supporting high-quality and timely access to health care to ensure we have the capacity to stay open,” Pettapiece added. “And of course, all of this depends on the doctors, nurses, and other dedicated healthcare professionals and hospital staff. Their work is essential.”

According to the Ministry of Health, publicly funded hospitals across the province will see a minimum increase of two percent.
