Kincardine Pride returning this summer

Kincardine Pride has announced that the 4th Kincardine Pride Parade and LGBTQ+ Celebration is back on this year.

The event will be family-friendly and accessible, and participation is free, with no registration required.

Following the parade, a celebration will be held in Victoria Park, with performances by all-ages entertainer Saidat, and the Pine River Line Dancers.

The event will be held downtown Kincardine on Saturday, June 25th.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

As part of a partnership between the Sarnia Legion Branch 62 and City of Sarnia, an unveiling ceremony will be held at the corner of Christina Street and Wellington Street on Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
