Internationally acclaimed fiddler Shane Cook returns to Kincardine

Internationally acclaimed fiddler Shane Cook returns to the area after a nearly four-year absence to perform with The Woodchippers at the Kincardine Legion May 7th.

Cook says he’s excited to be able to perform new material.

“The band recorded a new album over the pandemic, and it’s out in the world now. What a treat it is to actually play this music for people now.”

“A big thank you to the Bruce County Fiddler’s association for bringing us in to play. There are so many great fiddlers out in Bruce County and it’s always such a treat to be able to come up,” added Cook.

Tickets are $25 in advance, or $30 at the door. Doors open at 7:30pm and the show starts at 8:00.

Shane Cook and The Woodchippers will also be performing later this summer at the Kincardine Scottish Festival.
