Ontario Tankard and Scotties title sponsor announced

The title sponsor has been announced for the 2023 Ontario Tankard - Scotties coming to at the Plex in Saugeen Shores, January 23 -  29, 2023.  The twelve top men's and twelve top women's teams in the province will compete for the Ontario title.  Team Rachel Homan has already qualified for the event.

The organizing committee  announce has announced that once again Port Elgin Chrysler will be the title sponsor for the event.

Steering Committee Chair Doug Flowers says “Port Elgin Chrysler proved to be a critical sponsor for the 2022 event. They were the lead that influenced other sponsors to come onboard. They provided our event vehicle Rocky, one of our more effective marketing tools. It is reassuring to have them back for the 2023 Ontario Tankard /Scotties.”

Christine Penner of Port Elgin Chrysler added “We are extremely excited and honoured to once again be the title sponsor for the 2023 Ontario Tankard / Scotties. And we are excited to continue to work with the Port Elgin Curling Club in support of this great community.”

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
