Canadian Blood Services hosting two blood drives next month

Canadian Blood Services will host two blood donation drives early next month.

In a release, Canadian Blood Services says the first donation event will be June 1st in Owen Sound at the Best Western Inn on the bay. It will run from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. The second event will be in Mount Forest on June 7th at the Mount Forest and District Recreation Complex. It will run from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Appointments can be booked online at Blood.ca or you can call 1-888-2DONATE. They are accepting blood donations by appointment only.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
