Cause of fire at Saugeen First Nation home remains under investigation

No injuries have been reported following a fire on Tuesday at Saugeen First Nation.

Firefighters responded to a call of a fire at a home located on Highway 21 at Cameron Drive mid-afternoon on May 10th.

A family five managed to remove some pets after arriving to find the home on fire, though a family cat is missing.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
