Hanover to host public information session on upcoming park upgrades

Hanover Council will host a public information session on upcoming park upgrades.

In a release, the Town of Hanover says with the town about to retrofit two local playgrounds and their equipment, a public information session will be held on June 1st at 7 p.m. at the P & H Centre. The release states the session will "provide details on the Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee’s assessment of Hanover’s outdoor parks as approved by council. The new playground equipment designs for Optimist and Kinsmen Ball Parks will be shared publicly for the first time."

An overview of Hanover's park objectives will be provided by staff and the parks committee. For more information, visit the Town’s website hanover.ca.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
