OPP investigate hit and run involving pedestrians in Listowel

Perth County OPP officers are is investigating after a vehicle struck two teenagers at the intersection of Main Street East and Wallace Avenue North in Listowel.

Police were called to the collision involving two pedestrian on May 15, 2022, at about 5:30 p.m.

Police learned the victims were crossing Wallace Avenue North, on the north side of Main Street, when the SUV made a right-hand turn, striking the two teenagers. The victims did not sustain any injuries.

Police say the involved vehicle left the scene.

It is described as a red Dodge Journey Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), with an unknown license plate.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
