Police investigating stolen vehicle and theft of items from Mitchell property

Perth County OPP are investigating a recent break-in that resulted in a theft of items and a vehicle.

On May 16th, the victim called police after discovering that their red 2005 Toyota Highlander had been stolen overnight from their residence on Adelaide Street in Mitchell.

The garage was broken into, and some tools were also taken. Another vehicle on their property was rummaged through, and cash and gift cards were taken.

The value of the stolen vehicle, tools, money, and gift cards is well over $5,000.

Anyone with any information regarding this theft is asked to contact Perth County OPP or Crime Stoppers.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
