Weekly Cruisers Cruise Night returning this summer

The weekly Cruisers Cruise Night events will be returning to Southampton this year.

A release states that long-time organizer Gary Brown once again will take the reins organizing the Thursday evening weekly event from Thursday, June 2nd through Thursday, August 25th this summer. It will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. nightly. It will take place at the big flag in Southampton.

The money raised with the nightly 50/50 draw will be donated to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation and their current Bring Tom to Town fundraiser.

Through 25 years, the Cruisers Cruise Night events have raised over $300,000 for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation. For further information contact Gary Brown at 519-797-1104 or Dave Middleton at 519-270-9023.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
